Alvor is a picturesque fishing village with outstanding beaches and a sense like no other place. It’s not just the geography and its perfect location, but also the people and the energy of its surroundings.
You quickly shift from the typical rocky beach, to the sandy beach next to the biggest gangways in Algarve. And just within a few minutes walking, you find yourself in the center of a cosy little village with fresh fish for dinner and a pub to watch your favorite sports.
Alvor is probably a lot more than what I can grasp, but as a tourist myself I have fallen in love.
